Get A Safe Free Sober Ride Home
Providing redeemable ride-share codes to would-be impaired drivers for a safe ride home.
Friends don’t let friends drive impaired.
Cinco de Mayo is a time to celebrate with tacos, friends, and maybe a margarita or two. But drinking and driving can quickly turn a fun night into a serious situation.
This Cinco de Mayo, celebrate responsibly and plan ahead for a safe ride, because Buzzed Driving Is Drunk Driving.
Use a rideshare service, call a sober friend, or make a plan before the celebration begins. Keep the focus on good food, good company, and getting home safely.

Plan Smart. Ride Free. Arrive Safe.
Project Plan Ahead Tennessee was created by the Tennessee Highway Safety Office to give would-be impaired drivers a safe way home on high-risk holidays and events. Ultimately, the goal is to save Tennessean lives and prevent traffic fatalities.
Rides are available if they originate in or have a destination of Nashville, Chattanooga, Knoxville, or Memphis. Credits can only be redeemed between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m. You cannot reserve a Safe Ride or schedule a pickup in advance. Rides are available while supplies last.
The program is providing a free Uber or Lyft ride home up to $15. Users are financially responsible for anything over $15.
